We offer an explanation of the following types of martial arts:
• Kobudo Ancient Okinawan Weapons, meaning "the old way of learning the warrior spirit" is a general term used to describe Japanese Samurai concepts. We train in traditional weapons forms. We supplement these skills with practice with control, safety, and develop practical application in today's world with responsibilty and honor.
• Karate Juniors Black Belt training takes place in a formal atmosphere with an emphasis on etiquette and self-control as well as physical ability. Disciple, Respect for Law and Order and Personal Achievement are common goals in the class structure.
It may take a youth Four years to achieve their Black belt level but often they will continue until finishing High School, an excellent preparation for College.
• Karate Adult is a Okinawan martial art involving a wide range of skill that include escapes from confrontation with grappling, joint locks, and takedowns. Okinawan Karate does not only focus on punches and kicks, but rather on how to deflect the impact of punches and kicks through application of non-violent means..especially awareness, voice confidence, authority, and calmness in chaos. We develop idominable spirit in our students to overcome obstacle and achieve success.
